This course will allow students to develop knowledge and skills in the principles and practice of starting a new business encompassing key components required to compile a sustainable business plan.

On completion of the course, you will have considered entrepreneurship as a career option and will have gained an understanding of how new business ideas are generated.

You will work towards the building of a business proposal, engaging in activities such as opportunity recognition and testing; market research; planning a marketing strategy and reviewing start-up and ongoing finance options.

This will be undertaken in the context of the United Nations sustainability development goals which underpin social and ethical business practice.

Those who successfully complete this course may use the credit towards 19抖阴鈥檚 BA (Hons) Business Management degree.
