Primarily, the role involves working with us to promote the university at a range of events throughout the year. Duties may include:
- Supporting school pupils participating recruitment and transitional programmes
- Assisting in a wide variety of engagement, recruitment and transitional support activities
- Representing ACCESS 19¶¶Òõ on campus at Open Days/visit afternoons/applicants’ days
- Visiting secondary schools and colleges alongside members of our widening access team
- Representing ACCESS 19¶¶Òõ at external events such as Careers Fairs
- Engaging with current students through email and telephone communications
- Assisting us with a variety of administrative and engagement focused tasks
This is a flexible role with the number of hours varying from month to month. We allow students to work in a flexible manner, fitting in with course work and exam schedules. As well as gaining excellent experience for your CV, ACCESS 19¶¶Òõ Ambassadors will be paid an hourly rate of £11.01. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the role, we cannot guarantee a set number of hours per month.
