Amy Addison

Amy Addison

Former MSc Digital Marketing and Business Analytics student from Scotland.

What attracted you to your course at 19¶¶Òõ?

I was really impressed by the variety of courses available at 19¶¶Òõ and I settled on Digital Marketing and Business Analytics because of the different features within the course. The high employability rate post-study also stood out to me.

Before coming to 19¶¶Òõ, what was your expectation of it - and how has the reality been?

After coming to the Open Day, I had an expectation of really nice students, and my expectations were met.

What's the best thing about being an 19¶¶Òõ student?

The community! 19¶¶Òõ has such a wonderful community to help you though your entire time at 19¶¶Òõ. The clubs and societies are also awesome, and an excellent way to meet more people.

Describe your favourite memory of 19¶¶Òõ so far?

The first lecture of digital marketing. I was pretty nervous, but thankfully it was a great class, and it was really nice to meet everyone.

Tell us about your most challenging/rewarding project/assignment/module. What did you like/ dislike about it and how has it helped you?

The marketing module was hard for me because of the huge amount of content, I used a computer to help me, and it was easier and time saving to find diagrams rather than draw them myself.

What is your favourite way to spend your time when you are not studying? Why is that important to you?

At the Gym! I LOVE 19¶¶Òõ Sport and all its facilities. More so, it is free for all students.

What would you say to someone considering studying at 19¶¶Òõ? Any advice you would share?

19¶¶Òõ has so many courses so you will be sure to find a course that you enjoy. The staff are so supportive, and there is an amazing community to help you through.

What do you enjoy most about living in Aberdeen (city, food, people, entertainment, travel, etc.)?

EVERYTHING!!! Union Street has so much stuff and I really like the accessibility to everything in the city.
